Moonlit builds the data infrastructure for legal intelligence. Legal information is public, but fragmented, low quality, and not usable for AI or cross-border research. Moonlit aggregates, enriches, and structures legal data across jurisdictions, making it accessible via platform and API.
We work with Big4 firms, governments, law firms, universities, and legal tech companies. Our ambition is to become the global backbone of legal knowledge.
The role
This is our first marketing role and therefore very hands-on. You will be responsible for turning the offering into a clear market narrative and translating that into pipeline, inbound demand, and stronger deal outcomes. To achieve this, you will work directly with the founder and sales.
Today, most commercial traction is through our network. Your role is to make that (together with our sales team) repeatable and scalable.
What you will do
Positioning and narrative
Own Moonlit’s positioning end-to-end. Translate product capabilities into sharp, differentiated value propositions per ICP, grounded in actual buyer pain and willingness to pay. Continuously validate and refine messaging through direct exposure to customers by joining sales calls, running structured interviews, and pressure-testing assumptions. Ensure consistency across all external surfaces, from website to sales decks to investor materials.
Market presence and content
Build and maintain a credible market narrative that compounds over time. Own Moonlit’s voice across LinkedIn, website, and external communication, with a clear point of view on where the market is going and why Moonlit wins. Turn customer traction, product usage, and data coverage into concrete proof points that signal category leadership, not just activity.
Sales enablement and GTM
Enable a repeatable and scalable sales motion. Develop high-conviction sales assets such as decks, one-pagers, and use cases that directly address objections and shorten deal cycles. Systematically improve how value is communicated in demos and throughout the funnel. Reduce dependency on founder-led selling by codifying what works and embedding it into the sales process.
Product marketing and growth
Own go-to-market for new features, datasets, and expansions. Ensure launches are tied to clear commercial outcomes, not just releases. Align messaging with high-value use cases that support larger deal sizes and stronger ACVs. Contribute to a coherent external narrative that strengthens partnerships, supports fundraising, and reinforces Moonlit’s position as critical infrastructure in the legal data stack.
What we are looking for
- Hands-on mentality and capability
- Strong copywriting skills
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Webflow or other tools
- Experience in product marketing at a B2B SaaS company
- Experience with technical products (data, API, AI, or enterprise SaaS)
- High ownership and ability to build from scratch
What success looks like (first 6 months)
- Clear and consistent positioning across all external channels
- Consistent and frequent posts across all our channels
- Significant increase in high-quality inbound and partnership requests
- Improved sales materials leading to: higher ACVs, shorter sales cycles, better conversion rates
- Stronger brand recognition within the EU legal tech ecosystem
